9-14-2024 One of my gfs and I finally made it to this establishment tonight for dinner after shopping at Costco. We had from the regular menu - charbroiled lobster, seafood chow fun, and avocado unagi roll. On the happy hour menu until 6pm. We had the rainbow roll, salmon skin roll, fried calamari, fried fish tacos, and yellowtail sashimi. She had a Sapporo, and I had 2 Thai ice teas. We liked most everything except the calamari was to breaded. Service was friendly, helpful, and quick. They made suggestions. Definitely appreciated. Their on the corner of Edinger and Gothard. Parking in the front and some in the back. Seafood Asian fusion place. Nicely decorated and clean. I would definitely be back to try their other lobster preparation dishes.

I've always wanted to try Big Catch when I used to work in the area. Brought my family here today during Happy Hour and we had a great, superb experience. The ambiance was pretty cool. The staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. They have a vast selection of food on the menu that it was a challenge to figure out what to order. Everything we ordered today was amazing!

Definitely come for their happy hour! I was shocked how good it was too for their happy hour menu . Maybe we came before closing, but I was surprised how empty the place was since they have such a good late night happy hour. Even on a Friday

This was our second time eating here in the last few months and the food, service, and value are all amazing. The restaurant has a great vibe and they have plenty of TVs if you want to watch a game while you dine. I wish I would have remembered to take pictures of the food because it was so good. We started out with the cucumber salad as well as the hot & sour soup and seafood cioppino, both of which are a very generous size. Next came a dozen raw oysters (Kumamoto and Minter sweet) with all the fixings and salmon sashimi. Next came the entrees, the steamed whole Maine lobster, the spicy garlic shrimp, and Korean-style short ribs. And of course you can't eat here without some Kikusui sake! David and Julia were our servers again and they are so fun and friendly and do an excellent job. When the bill arrives at the end of the meal, you realize what a great value this place is by the quality and amount of food you receive.

I have not been here for maybe 8 months to a year and I was greeted by everybody, whoa! I was impressed people missed me. I love their food but it usually was very cold and I had to wear a coat then they do not have Coke can, the coke from the tap was always flat everywhere. I'm also very impressed they still keep their price very reasonable, some of the Chinese restaurants are out of control, they charged $38 per lb of lobster vs $25 here, it was ridiculous and they can eat them themselves! I see young adults, college kids they don't care they order 5 lbs at $38 per lb? they don't have kids I guess to feed. The lobsters are always grilled to perfection here unfortunately they have margarine instead of butter so next time I'll order w ginger and scallion w noodle, just $30. The shaken beef was so tender, that was great as I just left the dentist, got my new crown, many restaurants now have horse meat or something, lol, I was always scared to death my teeth will fall out! The sauce was good but a little too sweet, I was not going to complain but when the boss, mr Yu came by to ask if everything was ok, I told him about this, he immediately asked if I wanted a new plate, I thanked him and said it was Ok, he took off $10 and I did not even know till we got home so TYVM mr Yu, that was amazing as my husband have once complained in a Chinese restaurant, he almost got into a fist fight! I'm joking but the owner was really upset and things went downhill, I live in Little Saigon long enough to see nice restaurants went out of business bc they had no customer service, it's good policy to lose a little money than losing a customer as it could boomerang. Mr Yu has great customer service, I feel valued as a guest and he trained all his servers well, they are all very courteous so for that alone, he deserves 5 stars. My husband loved the happy hour beer or sake, I don't drink so don't pay attention what he drinks. This restaurant has such an extensive HH menu, 1 page long, mostly sushi though, I don't eat sushi but if you do, it's a paradise here, I had garlic butter crispy chicken wings, OMYGAWD, it was finger licking good, I may just have to go back sooner just for this. I also love the fact they had a lady's room, I'm totally turned off by all the unisex bathrooms, I avoided them as much as I could. There are now so few real Chinese restaurants so I highly recommend this seafood restaurant, I'll make a nice video to post on Instagram and Tiktok, nobody I know goes to Facebook or Youtube.

Another Banga lol My husband wanted to catch an early dinner today so we went around 3:30pm today and to our surprise it was during their happy hour. We enjoyed our go too items we chose off the happy hour menu. We ordered the following: (2) Cucumber Salad Shrimp walnut Lobster California Roll Tom Soup (might be pronouncing it wrong sorry) Cream cheese wonton Short Ribs Steam Rice I can't say enough about their customer service, what I enjoy most is the team work effort of how they help one another, not one waiter belongs to one table everyone helps. Super satisfied with today's cravings, seems like we are becoming regulars here. Btw in case you are tempted to test out the car wash next door, don't waste your money :)

Nestled in between modern apartment complexes in North Huntington Beach, near Bella Terra, this relatively recent new addition to the OC food scene is a must-try! The ambiance of this place is *something like* a gastropub. A full bar greets you upon entry and the menu is WIDE -- from Raw Oysters, Nigiri, Sushi Rolls, and Sashimi, to baked Mussels and Lobster, and all the way to savory Lo Mein and Uni Pasta! There is something for everyone, including plenty of delectable vegetarian plates! The Cucumber salad rivals and even edges out its not-so-great competition at DTF! Oh, it has been said. Now you have got to stop by to give it a try, the vinegary + garlicky + spicy sauce will have you wanting more! Seated promptly on a Friday evening within a bustling scene; the staff is wonderfully friendly and attentive, and the tea is served in cute pots -- what else do I need to say? Can't wait to return here again soon!
